one minute to tell them apart…and the service moved onto your page. one tick. one mirror to separate. one thing it can’t do. one face scattered across the whole station still no edge to find. from him to her…from her to him…from face to glass again…already impossible to say which is which

no amount of time is capable of distinguishing between the two. platform three proves to be most accommodating, mirrors included. ‘nowhere’ cannot be easily defined but reflects pretty damn well x

Spot on MoTy. you saw my favourite kind of space... the one between past and present, reality and imagination, the inner world and the outer, the self and its reflection. Whoever can reach there can't deny that uncertainty reveals more about us than certainty ever could. From platform 3 to room 46 is not as far as it seems. Same architecture. Diffrent geometry. The world is being built as we speak.

B. this is my favourite kind of space too. Rebranding room 46 to waiting room, right next to platform. No one can stop me x

Where are we going Moty? Anywhere but here

MoTy's avatar

Nowhere, only because it’s such an underrated destination. Thank you @Olly von x

This one feels like motion. It feels like being carried along, though I don’t really know where. It’s fascinating… the worlds that you can create!

Thank you for tagging along Deer Girl x

Another for the greats friend!

My favorite part: cancellation.pending(departure.elusive);

fly.case(pinned.immobile);

wing.mutilated;

Could see what you were writing. Descriptive, macabre, yet-- release.

MoTy's avatar

Thank you @Soulhunting. Always keen to hear your take x

I’ve had a lot more than what was said transcoded into my brain after this — like the meaning of all the hieroglyphics & Assyrian cuneiform got inhaled at the same time

MoTy's avatar

Good. The hieroglyphics were intentional. The cuneiform was a happy accident. Thank you. Now exhale @Miles Hack x

Miles Hack's avatar

i… can’t… exhale — thank YOU 😮‍💨

"convex.mirrors(milked-fogged);" — I got John Ashbery and Dylan Thomas in the same sarnie. Miam!

MoTy's avatar

Oh gosh, not getting off then. Such a nice crowd. Flattered, thank you so much @Jaap Stijl x

Dig!

Boom!

Excellent as always, M

Such rhythm.

I especially dig this stanza:

“mind.minding(gaps);

patience.heavy;

sock.footed.crossing(yellow.line);

violent.compulsions;”

Mind the Gap 🙂

The code ran its course, the loop executed, and the return value was zero.

Damn 💔

Love the last line as well…like a black-box flight recorder time stamp.

MoTy's avatar

Black box recorders sticking up as evidence, looping uncontrollably against time. Thank you Sister ❤️

You do it again. I don't even know how.

It is gorgeous indeed, thank you @John Sheils x

What even is time if a single minute can hold this much? The anticipation feels almost geological in scale ✨

MoTy's avatar

Anticipation compressed into hand luggage. Thank you @Luna💫 x
