Stirring emptiness with a straw

Sitting with this drink for ages

Everyone has already gone

Only a spider walks beside the glass

I forget where my home is

Stirring emptiness with a straw

Blissfully stirring the emptiness and the pot. Spider complicit sits in my straw.

I’m digging your work. I started writing some poetry with unusual punctuation, some time ago.

It’s interesting seeing someone else doing something similar, but different 🙂

I have not read it but will sure be checking it and fast! I’ve been using syntax as a container, thoughts organiser, simplifier of sort. exciting to know I’ve found my tribe🙌

Cool. It’s a beauty. It’s one of Marina Abramovic’s favourite books - it was one of Susan Sontag’s too, I believe.

I got turned onto it by Abramovic.

I hear you.

I concur 🙂

thank you Michael, glad we share somewhat unusual punctuation enthusiasm🤝

You’re welcome.

As am I.

Mine become more prominent after a dose of ‘Letters, Summer 1926’ - have you read it? Heard of it?

Tsvetyaeva uses some unusual punctuation in her letters (within said collection) and her syntax is wonderfully idiosyncratic. It inspired me to experiment and play around more 🙂

Are you taking/creating those photos?

These were not created by me. Not to point fingers, but I guess Mo stole them from a very well-known source, reckless enough not to label the work.

The best dissociation I have ever felt from poetry

Hey Oscar, thank you so much! I never intended to perform. I’m writing in a somewhat rebellious way because it’s clearer I’m my mind!syntax gives me structure. Against the current I suppose!
